Avocado, Coconut & Goan-style Prawns Pizza

Top your next pizza with spicy-and-tart, skillet-roasted prawns plus toasted coconut, avocado and cilantro. This fresh and fiery pizza comes from Mumbai-based Pizza Taste Tester Pallavi Gurtoo, using her Goan-style Prawns recipe that’s traditionally called ‘prawns balchao’.Ingredients

250/330g (8.8/11.6oz) classic pizza dough40g (1.4oz) Goan-style prawns (see note below)40g (1.4oz) mozzarella, torn into small pieces1 tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes, toasted½ small avocado, finely sliced3 sprigs coriander (cilantro)MethodPrepare your pizza dough ahead of time. Our guide to making the perfect Classic Pizza Dough covers everything you need to know.Next prepare your Goan-style Prawns.Fire up your Ooni pizza oven. Aim for 500˚C (950˚F) on the stone baking board inside. You can check the temperature inside your oven quickly and easily using the Ooni Infrared Thermometer.Using a small amount of flour, dust your Ooni pizza peel. Stretch the pizza dough ball out to 12”/16” and lay it out on your pizza peel. Using a spoon, spread some of the sauce from the Goan-style Prawns across the base, then top with the prawns. Add the mozzarellaSlide the pizza off the peel and into your Ooni pizza oven, making sure to rotate the pizza regularly.Once cooked, remove the pizza from the oven and top with the avocado, coconut and cilantro. Slice it up and enjoy!
